Do you want:

  • To avoid having demotivated staff who believe their leaders are not committed to dealing with unacceptable behaviour at work?

  • To lessen the risk of formal complaints and the associated emotional and financial drain?
  • To ensure executives are equipped to strategically challenge unacceptable behaviour?
  • Senior management to understand their legal liabilities in dealing with people issues?
  • To enhance morale as your employees gain trust in their managers’ people skills?

If you are saying ‘yes’ to one or more of the above, Executive Resolutions will provide the speedy and confidential strategic intervention you seek.

Aimed at organisational executives and managers, Executive Resolutions offers a flexible and cost-effective solution, tailored to your needs.

Case study:

Leonie, a middle manager, was known to have an aggressive style with her staff, which included putting them down in front of internal customers, shouting at them, and generally being unapproachable. Several members of her team asked for a transfer on account of this, and others informally complained that she was bullying them. No-one would put in a formal complaint for fear of retribution from Leonie. The organisation concerned felt they did not know how to proceed.

We advised the organisation that it was vicariously liable for the behavior of this manager and we were asked to deliver an appropriate intervention. Firstly, we met with Leonie, who was very upset by the accusations. After a long session, we encouraged her to understand the effect she was having on her staff – something that Leonie had been in denial of originally. We helped Leonie see the bigger picture and coached her in how to approach her own manager for assistance.

Subsequently, we met with Leonie’s senior manager and explained to her the responsibility she had for supporting Leonie. We encouraged the senior manager to support Leonie in dealing with her heavy workload, so enabling Leonie to become more strategic in her management style.
