Need an investigator for a formal complaint of harassment, bullying, discrimination or victimisation? 10 Reasons why you should ask Jean Kelly Consultancy Ltd to investigate it for you.

  1. You will benefit from our 20 years’ experience investigating formal complaints of harassment, bullying, discrimination and victimisation for large employers, including Government Departments, Government Agencies, Local Authorities, Charities, and Private Sector clients.
  2. You will benefit from our proven method of investigating – a successful method that has been tried and tested over more than 80 complex and sensitive investigations, often involving senior members of staff. If you have an established procedure for investigations we will make sure our method follows that procedure. If you do not have one, we will be happy to advise you on this.
  3. You can rest assured that none of our findings have been overturned at Employment Tribunal – and only two of our investigations have been tested at ETs and our findings remained.
  4. You will be allocated your own experienced investigator and note taker who will investigate the case from start to finish. They will visit your premises or a location of your choice.
  5. Based on the evidence collected, the investigator will come to conclusions and make findings – i.e. whether the complaint is upheld. Your decision officer can then decide to accept the findings and carry out the necessary discipline (if required).
  6. You will receive a robust report that consists of all the evidence collected and the conclusions based on this evidence. Our reports are completely evidential and do not express opinions or biases of the investigator. We believe this is the main reason why our findings have never been overturned – they are based solely on the evidence collected and they are not subject to whims or prejudices.
  7. You will receive our recommendations of a future course of action you could take based on any issues that have come to light during the investigation that may require remedial management action.
  8. You can benefit from our experienced coaches and mediators post investigation to ensure that effective working relationships are re-established.
  9. You can stay in direct contact with your appointed investigator by telephone and email, as well as with Jean Kelly, Managing Director, to ensure any concerns you have are addressed quickly and confidentially. We realise how stressful it can be for your staff during an investigation and we will do everything we possibly can to make sure the investigation process is handled confidentially, sensitively, fairly and discreetly. We are here to address you concerns so that you will feel supported throughout the process.
  10. We appreciate how important it is to you for the investigation to be conducted swiftly and efficiently. We will do everything we can to ensure we meet the timescales outlined in your policy. This way your organisation cannot be challenged over delays, and disruption to your staff’s normal working pattern will be minimised.
